    The amateurs are starting to come out in force. You guys beg to get your arses kicked every season. He is not even a top 5 QB. He plays in a league with the worst defenses in the Power 5. The ONLY team he plays against that may (and that is a Big "may") have a decent defense is the game at Texas.

    heisman to me just seems like you need a perfect storm - basically big numbers on a big winning team.. only exception i think is when you are already a really big name, then you don't need the huge numbers but you generally need a big winning team........ so i think it's very random. not sure lamar jackson was on 50 player pre-season heisman watch list that i read last year.

    i actually think bigdaddy has a valid point..... i think the big 12 is a very discounted conference right now.

    without much thought, what about jake browning at washington? barnett at OhSt?

    i do think with darnold getting so much hype - some see him as likely winner which is LOL - that without juice there may be great value elsewhere.

    bo scarborough 22-1 has good value as well

    if they give him the carries he will put up crazy numbers. but they might save him in a lot of blowouts. still his ypc will be nuts

    How exactly is that a negative in his chance to win an award largely based on stats and team record.

    Big 12 decenses have long been terrible. That's why 3 qb's from the big 12 have won the heisman in the last 10 years.
