Albert Pujols hits 600th career home run

And it was a grand slam.

One of the all time greatest hitters.

It's sad how irrelevant he's become out here, but good for him.

    Hopefully he'll retire now.

Pujols is a true asset to the game of baseball. For everything he has done to my beloved Astros in the past, I know greatness when I see it. A first ballot HOF'er for sure.

I think he will pass Ruth. if he wants Aaron someone in softball league (ALB) will have to let him try for it. As for roids? guy was tested as much or more than anyone and always came up clean. GL albert

Just a question.... haven't been following baseball at all... who are the past MLB players that have been currently held out of the HOF because of the steroid scandal?

Pujols has to be held out. Even La Russa said it himself... "Albert is the purest hitting machine I've ever seen." Gee.... I wonder why?

Well no sh#$... he was a hitting machine. But why? Juiced up.

Albert Pujols kicked things off for the Angels in dramatic fashion on Friday night, cranking a two-RBI home run off of the Orioles’ Jeremy Hellickson to give the club an early lead in the first inning. The 350-footer was his 18th home run of the year and No. 609 in his 17-season career, tying Sammy Sosa on the all-time home run list for eighth overall and most home runs hit by a player born outside of the United States.

Too bad he went to LA. Guy would be making serious headlines if he didn't go there. I guess the fact that he's now a .250 hitter doesn't help much either though.
