    Good thing I didn't watch that. Well, my round went about the same. Cruising along and the last two holes went bogie, and double. I got a penalty for not setting up on a tap in. WTF! I had my foot addressed but my other foot was way out. I've got a ruling on it still. I'm going to put that rules official in a trash can if it costs me the tourney.

    Oh, then the Brewers melt down. Just add that on also.

    Never heard of that rule, you don't have to be totally addressing the putt to hole it. PGA players do it all the time. As far as I know there is no such rule. I have never heard or seen anyone being penalized for that. There are players that putt regularly without putting both feet on the same line as their intended line. You sure there isn't more to this story?

    just woke from a long snooze but from what I'm told I reached across the hole and tapped it. According to USGA rules, that's a penalty. Not sure but that is what that old fart on the cart told me. I never had a problem with it in the past, but this guy is pressing the issue I guess. I'll look in the rule book tomorrow when I get a chance.

    oh I thought you were talking about just having one foot forward. I didn't know you reached across the hole and hit it toward yourself. I actually thought they got rid of that rule but not 100%
