    **Kentucky Derby Picks from DAD**

    So, I have said this before throughout the years and have cashed pretty nicely from my dad's picks. He just truend 80 and still working full time consulting folks on how to run a business, and is a very avid horse racing player, and I mean daily...track I have never heard of and he just texted me his plays....

    I personally don;t know chit about horseracing so I am not going to do all the "using both with" stuff because I honestly don't have a clue what it means...

    If any of you guys know your horse betting stuff and care to explain it real quick i might do it but here is the text....

    Like the 5, 18, 19, 14 to win.... So i guess that means all 4 straight just to win?

    Then one of his mentors who caps with him says...

    Wide open! But my top two picks are the 10 and 18...Using both with the 2,5,7,11,14,16,17,18,19


    Anyone care to explain what the hell that means? Seems like he bets every horse in the race....Thanks!

    Does "using both with" mean those 2 horses to win with all the other horses on a bunch of different exactas?

    sounds like his buddy is playing the 10 and 18 over 2,5,7,11,14,16,17,18,19 in an exacta which is saying the 10 or 18 need to win and the second place horse needs to be from the subsequent set of #s.

    I'm sure the math works out on those exactas to be + but way too many bets for me. If you want one funny, both guys had the 18. So just bet that one.

    There is 20x19 exacta combos.

    Looks like he is playing 17 of them.

    He left out an 18-10 exacta by not having the 10 in the underneath spot. May as well add that.

    We used to pool money for a pick 6 every year for the breeders cup a while back. Never won the big one but the only year I didn't play the others hit like 5 of 6 or something and each man got like 8K. Was pretty cool had our guy that did the home work. so many combinations, each guy put up like $150 or something. We should do something like that here. Who is trust worthy? lol
