    Any experience with these bookmakers?

I have found the following malta-class2-licensed bookmakers I am considering trying - but does anyone have any experience with them? (all .com domains)

    betixx
    optibet
    zebet
    betn1
totobet (can see quite a bit negative)
focusbet (can see quite a bit negative)

I am generally decent at reading e.g. bonus terms (although partially failed once) - my worry is more if they actually payout / otherwise reasonable

Why would anyone EVER play at thesei books? You know of 5-6 that are very good and that your money is safe...the bigger the bonus the bigger the chance your money is gone...

i somtimes wonder if guys don't do this for the thrill....like cheating on their wives or stealing something when you don't need to.

    Crazy.

For me, bonus is +EV - so I try calculate that against -EV for risk of being scammed by the bookmaker. A least that is becoming my current line of thinking. Just as bookmakers evaluate EV - I try do so as well.

But certainly I would like to wait signup with a new bookmaker until I can see some have had a bad or good experience with a bookmaker. But if a regular member here vouched for having a good experience with a bookie then that would be a big plus.

Can I assume the moment a bookie has a Malta license - they have to obey certain security protocols etc. of keeping private information? Otherwise that is of course a possible -EV that has to be included in the calculation.

There are books that have grades and have reported payouts in the threads in this forum. Before trying unknown books, did you try wagerweb? GTbets? These are two books with good bonuses, both of which I have gotten paid from in the past 3 months.

I have tried finding bookmakers that have a license in EU (net winnings tax free) + accept players from Denmark (maybe 10%)

Otherwise I have to start keeping separate records for bookmakers without the above and pay tax of net winnings... Which certainly is something I am considering. Just worried it will become a mess on my card and Skrill with such transactions mixed into each another.

    @jjgold

Well - this is why I am asking - to get informed risk. Should I then be burnt by one, I hope I would

    a) still report it (for the benefit of others, i.e. ranking bookmakers)
    b) consider it a "business expense"
    c) not whine too much

I list the above in the order of likelyhood

(With above said though - I believe your advice is sound)

Stay away from betixx and safe your money. I have a bad experience with them.
