    Is Everone on Les Habitants?

    Seems like everyone is on Montreal....

    But not me.....Montreal will be the first Canadian team to be eliminated tonight.

    Rangers as a small dog at home in a close-out game with a hot Lunqvist....seems like an easy choice to me.

    Sorry, meant the first Canadian team with a shot. I had Calgary losing badly in that series.

    I am on Edmonton....they found a new level in the third and OT last game. The Shark Tank is a tough place to play, but I think the Oil have a great shot and I love the ++ money.

    Rolling with NYR in the early game and have the Sharks as the final game of a $5500 round robin (other games are all winners and final) later tonight so a hedge on that one might be in order.

    I like the Preds on the West.

    Anaheim is a hell of a team, but I think their undisciplined play will eventually get them in serous trouble, if they ever play Nashville.

    Ducks are 3rd in league in the playoffs (not that the regular season stats were any better) with 10.5 penalty mins per game, while Preds are all the way at the bottom with 5.3 mins per game.

    That's almost 3 more powerplays per game for team Nashville.

    Rocket sharp again....That is my fear my man...I am a big Ducks fan and they just give up way too many penalties...Also, Corey Perry has been the closest thing to dog chit I have seen and he is our guy...Our defense has the least amount of postseason minutes in the history of hockey. If Cam Fowler can come back ASAP that will help, but I am not too optimistic..

    That's been their problem for ages, man. They basically have a ton of incredible, but very undisciplined talent on their roster.

    Ranked#2 in penalty mins during the regular season and #3 during the playoffs. They continue to make the same dumb mistakes, while other teams try to tighten things up in the playoffs as far as taking penalties goes.

    You give a speedy and crafty team like Preds, that many chances on powerplay and they'll bury you.


    Btw Oilers are ranked #1 in PIMs. How fkng Sharks are losing this series right now is simply beyond me.

    The Ducks won't be as undisciplined in the playoffs....so I don't think it will be as big an issue. I think that the Preds played an amazing four games against a Chicago, but I don't like teams that get that much rest and that don't have as much playoff experience.

    Preds could win....so could Edmonton or even the Blues (I had them first round), but I believe that the Ducks have another gear. Their D has underperformed all year and so has Perry. That won't last forever.

    But hey....I had a $10k swing on one game a few nights ago....so what do I know?
