Why everyone loses (eventually they all) in all sports forum...

Have you noticed that everybody loses their ass off sooner or later in all message boards? It is true. Even good cappers eventually lose big time once they get connected to a forum. Why? Because of all the negativity. If you mind is filled with negative emotions and things you will only see the worst/negative things in everything. Today all media and most people around you talk more about the negatives and everyone is in a constant state of "fear" for something or someone. Its very hard for people to see positive in things these days. This is worse among gamblers posters in forums like this.

When you are full of negative energy like that most things you do in life will be failure and even if you succeed you will be unhappy. IN this state of mind if you approach gambling, no matter much time you spend or how good you breaking down a game, you are more likely to land on the losing side. These energies are very contagious. If you have a family member who is always negative and sees mostly negatives in everything, it will catch on to you fast without even you noticing and it will affect you things in life. When it comes to gambling its true. Gambling message board or a haven for these negativity. Its unreal how badly posters want to see others fail. This is mainly because they are already in that state and failing, so they wish the same to others, even if they don't wish it directly, they would do so by releasing in other form...you could tell from the tone of the posts. When you are filled with these negative emotions, everything you do will have negative impact. If you make picks or bets during this time, you will fail.

Try to be positive and spread positivity. Its will be very hard for most of you here since you are too far gone but there is still hope. Practice LOVING KIND MEDITATION OR METTA BHAVAN. You can youtube how to do do it. It will not only help you here on the boards but in real life as well, especially with your loved ones. You will be amazed at how things in life turn around if you change your behavior or perspective of things.

    loving-kindness meditation

The original name of this practice is metta bhavana, which comes from the Pali language. Metta means ‘love’ (in a non-romantic sense), friendliness, or kindness: hence ‘loving-kindness’ for short. It is an emotion, something you feel in your heart. Bhavana means development or cultivation. The commonest form of the practice is in five stages, each of which should last about five minutes for a beginner.

    1. In the first stage, you feel metta for yourself. You start by becoming aware of yourself, and focusing on feelings of peace, calm, and tranquillity. Then you let these grow in to feelings of strength and confidence, and then develop into love within your heart. You can use an image, like golden light flooding your body, or a phrase such as ‘may I be well and happy’, which you can repeat to yourself. These are ways of stimulating the feeling of metta for yourself.

    2. In the second stage think of a good friend. Bring them to mind as vividly as you can, and think of their good qualities. Feel your connection with your friend, and your liking for them, and encourage these to grow by repeating ‘may they be well; may they be happy’ quietly to yourself. You can also use an image, such as shining light from your heart into theirs. You can use these techniques — a phrase or an image — in the next two stages as well.

    3. Then think of someone you do not particularly like or dislike. Your feelings are ‘neutral’. This may be someone you do not know well but see around. You reflect on their humanity, and include them in your feelings of metta.

    4. Then think of someone you actually dislike — an “enemy”, traditionally— someone you are having difficulty with. Trying not to get caught up in any feelings of hatred, think of them positively and send your metta to them as well.

    5. In the final stage, first of all you think of all four people together — yourself, the friend, the neutral person, and the enemy. Then extend your feelings further — to everyone around you, to everyone in your neighbourhood; in your town, your country, and so on throughout the world. Have a sense of waves of loving-kindness spreading fromyour heart to everyone, to all beings everywhere. Then gradually relax out of meditation, and bring the practice to an end.

Guys, for us to succeed as a forum, do the above thinking of posters instead of people in life. Do this for your life with people in your life as well for personal growth in life.

All comes down to lack of discipline. Lack of discipline = failure.
