at this case with free play no rollover, I would take the FB because sooner or later you will bet with $250 real so why not make it $500 with nothing to lose ?

not sure, probably depends on the book..I doubt you would get banned, maybe limits lowered or them keeping a closer eye on you?

honestly, I rarely if ever do it. I feel like I can make more by simply parlaying teams that I like/think will win.

Free play +300 = $500 to win $1.5k
Favorite -350 = $1,150 to win $328.5

You'll profit either $328.5 or $350 no matter what

If the books allows you to parlay it the way Jake described, you can get around 70% back... so the $500 freeplay is worth around $350 cash.

You wont get banned for doing it if the book allows it.



If you have plenty of money in another book, you can also use the SBR Freeplay Calculator to work out what you can make hedging the freeplay against another book with real dollars.

If you have the money on another book, you can make 85% or a little better guaranteed... so the $500 freeplay would be worth $425 cash.


*Beware Of Freeplay Terms. If your book calculates rollover based on winnings from the freeplay you probably want to go the hedge route and not the round robin parlays*

LOL... you mistake my pragmatism for hate, or even a preference either way.

If Trump makes a dumb call (as I think he did with the TPP total pullout) I can say that without hating him or being a supporter of the other side. It's only you yanks that insist 'you are either with us, or against us' on every damn issue. ;-)

Even at two teams 4 ways its 65%, If you are worried about book being upset by it use two different books.

I think I invented this many moons ago with the 2 teamers and 3 teamers. (kidding but it has been around for what seems like forever)

And unless something has changed recently with DSI, Bookmaker and CRIS group this has always been allowed at these shops.

I should be able to hit 3 out 5 100 dollar wagers. That's 270 versus 250. Still a big risk. 1 500 dollar bet is 450, 2 250 dollar bets requires least 1 hit.
