Would have been different if the World Series had been Dodgers-Blue Jays.

If it was anybody but the Cubs this probably doesn't happen. Networks dream scenario is for a game 7 and then the Cubs to lose so they can push the same story lines next year.

i remember several years ago jags titans or some awful awful game beat an NLCS game on monday night and a bunch of people talking about it on radio.

mlb should get better ratings again tonight. last night was a division 'rivalry' game as well. i went to a restaurant/bar to watch the warriors game against the pelicans friday night here in the bay area and people were way into the world series. great storylines this year.

The good thing about MLB is that a lot of these good teams have fresh young talent that will be together for several seasons. Teams like the Cubs, Red Sox, Indians, and Astros are going to be duking it out for several seasons.

Jesus christ these baseball knuckleheads just can't enjoy the moment. Simple fact they are manicly trying to compare World Series vs regular season NFL shows how they are the little brother. Cubs are the only draw here. Why can't people enjoy playoff baseball without sucking it's rooster. NFL dying as well, but college football ensures it always survives. MLB will never be bigger than football. If anything, they both get beat by another sport down the road

Don't forget it was the World Series during the regular season no one watches baseball except 30 people as baseball lacks stars

Most people couldn't name five people on any roster because it's basically non-Americans

Don't really think they should be sucking each others diks down at MLB HQ because Game 6 of the penetrating WORLD SERIES eeked past Regular Season NFL Game
