Fantasy Football 101: Need Advice to tear apart SBR League II

I have only done fantasy football for 4 seasons since it was invented. Most of those was about 10 years ago when there was a league at a local bar back in my hometown. I have done alright, usually able to make playoffs until the last time I played a handful of years ago. First pick I took Charles, of course he is injured right off the bat for the season and I didn't do well after that.

So what is a good drafting strategy? Who you like to pick first? What to avoid? Etc. I have the #2 pick in SBR Fantasy II league, who should I go with?

I can't help you at all. I haven't done well in fantasy football in quite a few years. I always blame it on injuries. One thing I will not do this year is draft a backup qb

Stay away from ESPN especially Matt Berry and his endless lists.

Yes, I learned that years ago. I always used to look up free agent players on ESPN. They would always have this list of must adds and it never turned out well.

dude wake up, do your own research, use google, go to websites, and do mock drafts. There are hundreds of mock draft sites. Wake up and get off your fvcking ass and do something with your life.

Berry's lists are about like all others, how about coming up with your own and he does know more than anyone here. Just a fact.

OP was asking for advice, I do my OWN research I look at these joke sites to see where I'm at, what players I'm wrong about and what players I should draft.

TT gave great advice, best way to improve is mock and mock often. Remember that SBR is a PPR league, so make sure to mock in PPR rooms or else you'll get nothing out of it. You can find PPR mocks at fantasyfootballcalculator and rtsports

First off, you're in the second league... Which is known as the hamburger league... So winning it should be fairly easy.

Get Gronk as wont be available in the second round for you.

I realize this LT. I started this thread to drum up conversation. Didn't know it was going to get TT so upset because I am not spending 12 hours a day working through the endless possibility of how the draft will go. Jesus. I have done mock drafts in the past and look at all the stupid draft sites. Everyone has their own opinion on fantasy sports just like they do with actual handicapping. Hence the reason of the thread.

Apparantly the first rule on SBR fantasy is you don't talk about fantasy
