A successful baseball bettor needs to calculate as many variables as he can to predict what the game will look like...just like the wind blowing in or out...do some umpires specifically have higher/lower ERAs when they're behind home plate based on their mental estimation of the strike zone...some seem to have a wide strike zone forcing batters to swing at everything near the zone while others have a small strike zone that batters just take and take and take and either walk or get meatballs.

We get the overall ERA....the overall batting averages and certainly those are good indicators but those are so easily attained that they are clearly already in everybody's mind when they bet....I would bet 1 in a 100 or less calculate who's behind home plate...who is judging if the pitcher just threw a strike or a ball (balls are very important as it not only makes it much easier for the batter to get ready for a meatball and pass on a close pitch but also runs the pitchers pitch count up inning by inning as he battles much longer with each batter)

Does anyone have any tracking home plate umps: Whether you do or don't who are some of the umps you think have a wide strike zone and who have a narrow strike zone
