    I would have told you to go full pastrami and fuk the soup, but you really can't go wrong there.

    Wish I saw this earlier, could have saved you from some tourist traps - like Luger's, though it's worth the experience. WTF you were doing eating in Grand Central Station is beyond me. You go to GCS when you want to leave NY, not when you visit.

    Only "name" steakhouse worth the hype (and the hype is unreal) is Sparks - I'd say it's top in NYC & USA. I'm partial to Morton's next and Smith & Wally's of course. But most steakhouses are good when you're hungry.

    Quick FYI, when in Queens has 2 great traditional Italian restaurants: Piccola Venezia (Astoria) and Parkside (Corona). PV is just off the charts. This whole thread makes me hungry.
