Dummy paid $55K for 2 tix to Kobe grand finale!

Past three seasons have been an absolute shit show! Gotta know when to say when. His greedy bitch prolly forced him to continue playin!

The most expensive ticket sold on StubHub was a courtside seat in Los Angeles, where a fan paid $27,500 each for two tickets to see Bryant up close for the last time.

It does say something about the Lakers decision to pay him that huge contract to hobble around. Ticket and jersey sales through roof. How much is this good-bye tour worth to them and how much would it cost them if he did it in say Chicago. And... they get all this while still sucking and not giving up draft position.

What other team has ever filled the seats while tanking?

I'm thinking of organizing a parade when Kobe retires--not because of his career but because we won't have to listen to anymore of this farewell tour bs.

This could very well be the saddest, most pathetic farewell tour EVER

too bad he had to follow Jeters farewell

    Makes it look even worse

All the guys who have gambled their wellfare checks away, hating on the rich 😂😂

Of course it's stupid, but hey - when you have so much money (as this guy probably has), nothing is expensive. He probably thinks he 'got dem StubHub boys'

Not sure how this is stupid. It's a once in a lifetime event. If you've got $850 or even $55k laying around, neither of which are really that much money, why not go? It's not about "this game", it's about his whole career. This kid is special and it's the last time we get to see him. What do you guys do with your money that's soooo much cooler?

Maybe he's just a huge fan and wanted to go. I spent $1200 to go to the Lakers/Celtics game seven in the finals. I almost spent another $1200 to go tonight, but I've got the flu. I'm not interested in bragging, I just love Kobe. He's my guy.

That was an important game, and for that price I can't argue. But spending 55K?

I don't know where you guys are from, but this is Los Angeles. 55k is not a lot of money here. Of course it is to some people, but there are so many people here who could have that much money stolen from them tonight and never even feel it. Also that game was celebrity loaded, may have been one of them. And tonight, they clearly go their money's worth.
