    Baseball pitching standards

    Dropping in major league baseball you cant really see any aces apart from kershaw and bumgardner.

    The amount of homeruns seems to be up across the board (at least to start) this year...maybe just me though. I agree though the elite pitchers are dwindling.

    the past 50 years about 20 starting pitchers have had full season ERA's under 2.00

    we got 3 that have done it in the past two years With Arrieta, Kershaw (multiple times), and Greinke
