They'll probably go 4-3 or 5-2 but either way those games don't really mean anything when it comes to what will happen in May. The Thunder swept the Spurs in the regular season a couple years ago and lost to them in the playoffs. The Bulls swept the Heat in the regular season and the Celtics were 3-1 against them and Miami beat both 4-1 in the playoffs in 2011. Pretty sure OKC had a losing record against the Spurs in 2012 when they beat them in the WCF as well.

The only thing that matters is health and playing your best heading into playoffs.

    Homecourt?
    Regular season record?
    Point differential?

Can`t imagine if GS/SA meet in WCF, if both healthy, series doesn`t go 7.

Homecourt absolutely matters especially if a series is gonna go 7. Game 7 home/road splits are unreal.

The rest doesn't matter too much though. The whole concept of "you are what your record says you are" is stupid.

You're right, homecourt in the playoffs absolutely matters. In the NBA especially it's about health, peaking and matchups. The idea of "you are what your record says you are", I think applies more towards football, since there are so many fewer games and a single game can be crucial to your record.

I am looking forward to the GSW/SA games, should be entertaining, but not sure if it will tell us much about what happens come playoff time.

Yeah, should have stipulated game 7 homecourt advantage is statistically significant.

But I would rather have my top 5-6 players in my rotation clicking
than having a potential game 7 @ home with a player or 2 dinged up.

Is there anyone that really believe there's a team that's better than the Warriors in the nba?
All healthy, i don't see how they can be stopped. Spurs will give them a game but i doubt they beat them in a 7 game series.
You have to hope they go cold in 2-3 games in a row to have a chance.

GSW destroyed Cavs and suddenly the bandwagon is full again. The Spurs have a good chance this year, I like what they are doing there. No record chasing, just a quiet domination. Obviously, it would help if SAS managed to steal the #1 seed, but even without that I like their chances a lot better than the current +220 odds to win WCF.

Those 2 SA games in April are at the very end of the season. One team may need to win both to get the #1 seed.

Steph almost has as many 3 pt fg's than the entire TWOLVES roster.

6 game road trip after the break will be tough, see them losing twice.
