I've been to a couple Lakers games years ago and they were always sellouts...of course back then the Lakers were also thinking of championships not whether or not they would finish last in the West...tickets were not only sellouts but they were expensive $100 each minimum for the cheapest seats in the house. Lakers games were also a Hollywood event (at least back then) where if you were a celebrity you would HAVE to eventually be pictured courtside at a big Lakers game
Do Lakers games still sellout? Are ticket prices still ridiculously outrageously high?
Also when Kobe leaves at the end of this season a team that is already the 76ers of the West will decline to full 76ers level AND lose their star draw...will there be any reason to watch them next season? I can understand ppl going to games just to watch Kobe's last season now but next season what would be the point unless they do some incredible drafting and trading.
Have the Clippers (currently on a 10 game win streak) become the team to watch and selling out games?
