If you're patient, you can nickel & dime an online casino & easily profit $50 or more per day playing blackjack.

But the key is to stay in control.

If you start with $500, you plant that number where you began ($500) in your mind, bet small, and when you reach $525-$550, you leave.

Actually you FORCE youself to leave.

Go back again a little later, and repeat.

Again, the key is planting that beginning number in your head & keep repeating to yourself.

    "$525...$525" as you're playing hands.

Once you reach $550 or so, you leave again.

Greed is what causes players to eventually keep playing & eventually bust out.

Doing it in intervals like this prevents that.

Assuming you have a 3% roi you would need to wager roughly $1700 on average every day to book a $50 profit per day. And 3% is a pretty big edge...

From my experience years and years ago playing a bit of online bj......it almost seems like the computer systems know when your trying to reach a certain number, and don't allow it to happen very often. Obviously I dont know the numbers, but I felt like I won 10% of the hands when I was trying to round off, and hit a certain number.

The problem for me is having the discipline to grind for small ammounts. It isn't fun/interesting at all so eventually you start feeling like you're throwing money away by betting too small. Then you fire some missiles and one bad run wipes you out.

Not so much with live poker as I find it stimulating and enjoyable but with online sports betting after a few days of grinding hard its no longer fun and is quite stressful and tedious.

Like the quote is in the movie casino "He didn't look at it as winning $10,000 he saw it as losing $90,000 so he upped his bet"

The fundamental problem with playing is that we are often betting in to shit with either a tiny edge or no edge or a -ev probability so if you spend 16 hours a day for 3 days in a row and you lose or even only win like $20 you can lose your mind. Gambling is a mental war.

Nobody makes money gambling unless you’re playing the bonus game or
    scalping

Nobody handicaps and wins on one side

Sammy, I think your original premise was ok. But we need more details. A few things:

    1) A real GAMBLER isn't punching the clock + raking in $50 each day. It's more of a grind + dealing w/ the ups/downs.

    2) Specifically, what angles are we playing? I think a Basic Strategy is to incorporate the coupon/bonus game. Can clear a little +EV by doing that (for starters).

    Chucky

grind BJ with a count system... make sharp sports bets like MLB home dogs (pick your spots)

probably must play brick/mortar joints so food expenses comped

That's a good start, Sammy. That's what I was looking for. To think like a winner, we have to think baby-steps:

    1) Blackjack grind. Two considerations:
    a) How much can you win? A little, but probably not too much.
    b) Where can you play? Rules are so bad nowadays.

    2) Coupon game. Think in terms of a few freebies + discounts.

Not so sure about your Home-Dog theory. Lines get sharper over time.

Rules arent too bad if you pick your spots

just the other day played into a double deck 10.00 min, splits , double any two , surrender , 3:2 BJ but dealer hits soft 17

Thanks for the laugh. When I used to deal Blackjack I would hear versions of this strategy on a daily basis. Oddly enough... I never once ever saw a person pull it off(I don't count the occasional hit and run). I realize you are talking about the online casino but that's mostly irrelevant.

Let me see if I have this right... you start with $500... and when you get to $525 or $550 you force yourself to leave? Is this correct? Here is my question for you... if you lose your first few hands... when should you leave? Are you just assuming that everyone will get to $525 from $500?

If you had 500-1000 to buy in Bacarrat you could easily make 50 a day at a 5-25.00 a hand.

Sports absolutely as well. However!!! The key is NOT to play every day.

Where I worked at... we would yell out "checks in play" if a person started betting big but it never had anything to do with the count as the dealers have no idea what the count is.

We didn't have baccarat at the casino I worked at so I'm not very familiar with the game. I'm just wondering... how is it possible to easily make $50 a day playing it? What is it that you know that the average person doesn't know?

Most run from the table cause it is usually flooded with Asians. This is the best odd for the player out of all chance games.

I make min 100.00 a shoe. If I hit 100 before shoe is done I walk till next shoe. Your looking at about 80 hands a shoe. You play the pattern not anything else. Other than a few other strategies I have.

I have made more money doing this then anything. I win in sports but Bacarrat
