Could the Philadelphia 76ers go 0-82?

Obviously that's not going to happen, but will they win a game before 2015? If so, when?

They beat Pistons last year to end that 26 games losing streak.

i remember a time when they resigned Iverson this nitwit city said it was a bad move because they needed to develop the younger players. I said the young players stink already and aint getting any better. Well those bums are gone and now we have a collection of more bums. MCW is overrated. The kid from Kansas better be something but with foot problems already i doubt it.

76ers GM is a disgrace. This guy literally can't get 2 or 3 solid veterans to come start on the 76ers? Grab fukkin 3 veterans for 1.5 million each and have a respectable team.

    0-13.

They were never really in the game tonight, but still managed to cover. God bless the NBA.

The next four games, although at home, should be all losses to bring them to 0-17.

Games on December 3rd, 5th, and 6th look like possibilities for wins. I'm hoping not though, I would really love to see them make it to 2015 without a win. I'm sure someone will let me down though.

They have no home court advantage over anyone but their wins will likely come in the latter part of the season where they'll get beaten down teams on the tail end of road trips and/or playoff/draft related shenanigans.

No point when he's tanking. They'll get the bloated veterans at the trade deadline when teams look to shed cap. Ironically enough they are also looking to trade Michael Carter Williams too

    First win will be Brooklyn.

I wish I started a 25 game open parlay for this team before the season started....may even be worth doing now.

What's the point of tanking every year? An up and coming star can't change your franchise if he's not surrounded by veterans or established players. It's a simple concept. Even if you want to rely on Carter Williams Noel and Embeid, at least put some pieces around them that can teach them. The best veteran guy on the sixer is Mbah a Moute. And it's not like he knows that much about winning.

i think what hes doing is fantastic, haha
hes all in on tanking and rebuilding on high potential
no superstar is coming to philly so hes hoping to get lucky in the lottery
if not, hes got a core of high lottery picks

most picks are scrubs in the nba anyway
so hes stockpiling them to raise the chances of picking up some talent

Here's a bet for you. Would you take:

+170 Philadelphia Eagles Games Won 2014 NFL Season (excluding Playoffs)

    OR

-200 Philadelphia 76ers Games Won 2014-2015 Season (excluding Playoffs, haha)

They have a "vision" according to Sam Hinkie. They have stockpiled so many draft picks and will be adding more. And the reason they are trying to trade Michael Carter Williams is because if they can get a good package for him they think that they can find a comparable replacement for a PG through the draft. As crazy as that sounds they may be right but nobody is taking the bait so far since MCW's #'s are likely very inflated because of his high usage/MPG and the extreme PACE the 76ers play at. Luc Mbah a Moute is a good wing defender, or was at one point before he got injured/languished in Minnesota and now the 76ers.

FWIW I think 76ers are gamblers. Building solely through the draft is hard to do and doubly so if you spend 3+ years being awful on purpose. You erode the brand, fanbase, degrade the market for free agents etc.

They have so much room under the cap that next year with Embiid, Noel, Carter-Williams and another top pick that they can overpay a few key free agents on smaller deals. There's a few guys who have some talent on there, K J McDaniels is a real good defender and Tony Wroten is a good backup PG if he can slow the hell down. The whole team is trying to over compensate for not having any real shooters by flying all around the court on defense but all it leads to is an obscene amount of turnovers on the offensive end. They'll win a few. Nerlens Noel looks so damn nervous with the ball, its a damn shame.

I love how they never question the coach? It's all because of young players. Clearly... you have to consider if the coach is leading his troops in the right direction. I'd fire him.

Just polished off a nice 0-4 homestand. Amazingly, they were 4-0 ATS at the time, or very close to that depending on the line you got versus Brooklyn.

That brings the lowly 76ers to 0-17.

This next game against Minnesota might be their chance. They will be catching the Timberwolves on their first game back from a West Coast road trip, too. Could this be the end? Let's hope not.

It's going to be awhile. I saw they win somewhere in the upper 20's of losses. Single digit wins on the season. It's abhorrent.

They have an even better chance with Detroit 2 games later.

If they lose both of those it could be a while before they win.

I say they will be 4-66 after 70 games. The last 10-12 games are always a bit random with teams resting guys, shutting guys down for the year, not having anything to play for and not showing up, etc etc... They could conceivably go like 3-9 there and end up 7-75.

When, or if they play Minnesota anytime soon, they might get one.. They do compete though.. Just don't win and sometimes they get blown by I don't know how many points... But they will win their first game soon enough, and will be the highlights /big news /breaking news on espn haha
