Steamrolling everyone. They did it all year in 2007 though, but these last 6 games they are beating and dismantling TOP teams. Broncos and Colts are the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the AFC... and NE just destroyed them both. The 2014 Pats are better defensively than the 2007 Pats, their defense this year has been nothing short of amazing. They really stop the pass as well as anyone can in this day and age. They are doing it without Mayo too. Brady and Belichik havent had a defense this good since the last SB they won. I don't see a team in the NFL who can beat NE right now... if NE keeps this up they may just win out, crown Brady as the best QB ever, and Belichik the best coach ever.
The offense this year isn't as prolific as the 07 Pats, but they are scoring at a similar pace... averaging 40.5 ppg over the last 6... 3 of these wins were against the best teams in the AFC at the time (Bengals, Broncos, Colts)... they scored 43, 42, and 43 in these wins. Gave up 17, 20, and 21 in the same games, that is domination.
yeah they will but how can you say that Denver and Indy wasn't a true test? Defniately throw in the Pack and there's the top 3 passing ofenses and the top 3 QBs other than Brady
