Awesome contest, just need to figure out how to police it better. Just mikejamm can't do it all by himself! -
Agreed. Maybe split it into two contests. One for regular game lines and one for just props. No issues with regular game lines as those can be very easily reviewed by all players on multiple sources. And thanks for the contest and congrats to DwightShrute!Originally posted by SBR AndyAfter reviewing the picks, there were a couple instances early in his streak where taterhead quoted an incorrect line from the 'best odds' brick in the matchup pages. No fault of his own, but those lines were never available on the line history.
Therefore, DwightShrute is the winner of the April Ladder Challenge - congrats! I will reach out via PM to get your payment details.
We will need to revisit the structure of this contest as too many issues arose during this month. Thanks all for playing!👍 2Leave a comment:

Well played winners, and nearly winners. How many people LOST a bet that would get them over the finish line? At least 3? This has gotta be a record lol👍 1Leave a comment:

Not up to me. But like you guys I have been thinking have to use the correct posted odds so if over +200 I could not take it. It's not really a mathematical advantage though I guess.
Shame this is coming down to rule issues on multiple entries this month.😞 1Leave a comment:

Wasn't trying to jinx. Looks like he was smart and bet Chelsea to win at 14/1 towards the end to get something out of this. Both people who came close to win the $1000, had tremendous hedge opportunities with minimal risk especially when you don't pay to play in this contest. How often as a gambler you get presented with the opportunity to choose how much money to win without sweating the bankroll as you don't need a bankroll to play this contest?
You try to help them and good advice gets ignored by noobs.

I am not saying he used a greater than +200 odds prop and posted +200, but if he did, then the only thought that goes through my head is "This is why we can't have nice things!" A free contestOriginally posted by Optional

Several times I wanted to use a prop bet where the odds were over +200, and just barely over in many cases, but I would never consider purposely changing those odds because that's obviously against the rules.Leave a comment:

they won't get by Andy or Opti. Of course you can't use +200 if the odds were longer.

So once these two winners on Tatis and Lindor are verified, this fun-filled, insane contest will be officially over.
Well done, regardless of whether you win or get DQed on a technicality lol!Leave a comment:

I actually got Lindor HR at +435 and over 1.5 bases at +122 at crypto books. Made more money here, than on my small Chelsea +1400 ticket the other day.Originally posted by pavyracer
