If the MLB Playoffs started today...

Are the Oakland A's a 2.5 favorite to win the World Series?

i'm saying if it started today. I realize they are currently 5 to 1 but i'm
thinking thats b/c they still got half the season to play and have a chance of not even making the playoffs....

I got no response from you about a MLB heads up thread.

I know you're not the type to run your mouth and not back it up.

Let me know what day we should start.

Playoffs don't start today so who cares.

The way Oakland has played this season, they would have to have one hell of an EPIC collapse to miss the playoffs.

The WS is gonna be Oakland and the Dodgers and I will find a way to kill myself, I might put up a poll later on how to do it.

exactly. The Angels are right on the A's heels. Both teams are strong in their own way.

Angels have more power and flair and the A's have more depth and can beat you so many different ways.

The edge has to go to the A's for the big 3 Gray, Kazmir, and Shark..

Those 3 are light years ahead of last seasons top 3
    Gray, Colon, Parker.

Seth Smith was a big loss but Stephen Vogt has picked up the slack. Derrek Noris too and the teams MVP John Jaso is finally healthy.

only dumb move ive seen in awhile by the A's front office was picking up Sam Fuld which they quickly corrected that mistake and he is on a losing team now where he belongs (Twins)

I wouldn't count out Detroit just yet. Besides, isn't Oakland there every year only to find a new way to lose it, no disrespect to them but...

Detroit's pitching will out due Oakland's pitching in the playoffs.... A's are built to make the post-season the Tigers are built to win in the post-season
