Starting to think KC chokes it away too. They've been very lucky the past month. At some point things will even out. They probably should have been swept at home by the Twins. They've been playing a cupcake schedule for a while now too.

Tigers still need to get Anibal back, back-end of Detroit's rotation is ugly. The new kid looked good yesterday though.

any one like the royals to get it done today Verlander is all over the place and the royals bats have had decent success against him. Tigers are the better team but theres a lot to like about them Royals

Don't forget Royals basically have one loss that hasn't been counted yet (suspended game against cle, down 4-2 in extras).

Tigers for the division. Royals and Mariners for the WC. Sorry Oakland.

at Kansas City. Down by 2 in the 9th when men on 1st and 2nd and only 1 out. Pinch runner gets picked off by the closer.

Oh well. I guess this game wasn't for the division lead and pushed the loser out of a playoff spot at the moment....... oh wait

Ned Yost completely blew that situation why put a rookie kid into that sort of pressure situation he was clearly to desprate to make a play and ended up making the mistake no need to take aoki out of the game at all... And yesterdays game he left Jeremy Guthrie to the wolves stevie wonder could see he was struggling not one mound visit not one attempt to waste time to let the bullpen warm up. the guys a cancer to this royals franchise the sooner he and his batting coaches go the better

I've said all along I'm mostly concerned about hitting the Win Total bet and the division would be gravy.

From a fan's standpoint, I'd like to see KC hang in their all month. Hey, maybe they win tomorrow and salvage the series.

KC is not making the playoffs.

They just are not used to playing in games that
    matter this time of year.

Tigers are a veteran bunch and know how to kick it into 3rd gear.

They have actually not reached their potential this year. You can tell they are young and talented by how streaky they are.
Most streaky team in MLB probably.
Being a tigers fan you should understand that by now.
I believe the Royals have had 2 9 game losing streaks this year.

Best pen in MLB built for the playoffs.
Your team only has an edge in starters and barely at that with Analballs not healthy.
Porcello will get shelled when it counts and Verlander is just an average pitcher now.
Your pen is miles behind and other than Miggy the tigers aren't much.
Should be an interesting finish for these kids in KC either way.

Tigers are a better hitting club too. I rank them top 3 with Orioles and Angels the other 2.

Their starting pitcher is average at best. Their defense outside of first base is amazing and also is their pen.

They don't really have very good starter with the exception of Danny duffy. Shields and Vargas are inning eaters and ventura is not ready yet.

Yeah but them being average could be good enough. If they get to the 6 or 7 inning with a lead they have a great shot at winning the game

    Out of your mind bro.
Shields one of the most underrated pitchers in the game.
    Easily that team's ace.

And everyone needs to stop bumping this thread trying to mush twizzle.
We all know he doesn't have an actual wager on it and not only that, he got buried in his thread by me and laughed at for the awful fake price he posted for his air wager as well.

Victor is leading the majors in batting avg last 2 months. Batting over .380 right handed lol. VMart is a monster, playing better than even miggy. He is the tigers MVP this year no doubt.
