Regulation ended with a phantom foul call on Southern Illinois, and now OT is ending on a phantom timeout supposedly called by Southern Illinois. Replays show that no Saluki player called timeout, and the coach clearly didn't. They were out of timeouts, so they called a technical foul.

Refs tried to throw it for Northeastern in regulation, but Allen bricked the free throw so it went to OT.

Then they throw it in OT.

I think that one should have been graded a push with the discrepancy of being bred in europe vs. racing in europe. The 3 of us need to pick up our game, I don't think a W6 is going to get it done.

I don't even know which of the crucial calls was worse:

A)Calling a foul when the defender made no contact with Allen (Northeastern player). Allen went up for a fadeaway, did not make contact with anyone, and either flopped or lost his balance. It wasn't debatable.

B)Inventing an illegal timeout call when they showed the players on the floor and none of them signaled for it, and the coach obviously didn't. He was screaming at the refs that no one called timeout.

This happened after Allen missed, Southern Illinois grabbed the rebound, and the refs were concerned the Salukis might win (it was a tie game).

If there was a foul, it should've been called a shooting foul.

The problem was that no one touched him, so how could any kind of foul be called?

I seen it during a espn quick recap. They said it was a verbal timeout, but the refs couldn't identify who actually called it.

Or more likely, one of the refs said timeout to the other one.

Basically, the game ended about 6:15 or so and he unlocked at 6:11.

It's the old trick of making sure the next round of picks are locked and then unlocking early for no reason at all.

I'm going under 26.5 in football to start.
