Classic SftC.

Heerenveen was -200 at Betfair to win, and draw was about +410.

Combined odds:

Heerenveen +.5 was about -625, no vig.

So yeah, a -625 fave just went down.

There was even a point where the NAC keeper passed the ball directly to a Heer attacker, and the guy put it right back to the keeper. All he had to do was take a step back, maneuver the ball to the right and do a simple shot. It was one on one. I could've scored on that one.

mikejamm's streak is still alive at W6 because he didn't pick Heerenveen for some reason.

I forgot to check how many people in my groups and on the leaderboard took them, but I'm sure it was most of the streaks of W5 and up.

Birmingham/Stoke is a toss-up. I took win/draw but I don't mind if I lose because it's a popular pick.

a dude with a 20 gamer had had heerenveen...i took birmingham too...i really don't like siding with the higher percentage when it is basically a pick em...but stoke is pretty bad, so went with birmingham...probably end up losing it

Most of the people up there don't really know what they're doing, but they get lucky.

Oh, I won't argue with that.

I'd gladly parrot the clueless SftC line of "every pick is 50/50, there's no such thing as a good pick" if I could finally win the 100 grand.

low-scoring first half made it look solid for under, but then a high-scoring second half put the under in danger. With a minute left and 9 points to go, the under looked safe, but two threes in the span of like 10 seconds made it a classic SftC finish.

La. Tech had it, with 20+ seconds left, but they went for 2 and got shots blocked several times until the clock ran out.

Whew.

would have risked a 20+ on that one...both teams are low scoring...parma had like 1 goal scored in last 6 games...and only 1 game this season involving them had been 3 or more and that one landed exactly on 3
