Tom Thibodeau is the best coach in NBA

    Hands down.

The team does consistently well regardless of who is missing.

I would rate him higher than pop and phil. Both of those guys had ton of talented guys playing for them. duncan, kobe, jordon and shaq are all top 10 of all time. But current bulls team doesn't even have one such player.

Give him one of those greats, and he would win ton of championships.

Its all about input and output...and tom achieves great things with little input.

This Bulls team is fukkin scary. They are so deep AND they have the superstar, no other team has the combo. The bulls just beat the Heat without their two best players in Miami.

Lebron is a fukkin idiot for not coming to Chicago, and when the Bulls whoop Miami's ass for the next seven years, it's going to be solely his fault that he didn't win 6 rings.

Thibs is a stud, I don't think we can say he is better than Phil....... yet!

What took him so long to get a head coaching job? Just shows none of these executives have a clue.

I still think Doc is the best coach.

Doc is a leader of men. Thibs was the brains behind the defense and the Celtics had a great D that year. But Doc is the best motivator by far in the league right now.

I wouldn't call this an overreaction. I think not considering him one of if not the best coach in the NBA prior to the start of this series would be an under reaction from what he did vs Brooklyn and for the season w/o Rose & Noah hurt, with Boozer as his best offensive player. The "overreaction" from this win over Miami I think brings him up to where he should have been all along next to Pop and Doc

How can Thibs not the best motivator? His best player out the whole year. Injury after injury. Noah's foot. Deng's in the ER. Hinrich always hurt. Flu bug. But he's always got "more than enough". Next man up. Bulls are the ultimate "play hard" team. Part of that is having the right guys though, guys like Noah. Seems to make ever player better. Butler would be a nobody with probably any other coach.

Seems to me he already has a really tough bunch. I just think based on what I've seen and stories I've read that Doc has that special ability to motivate these guys and really knows how to connect to his players. A lot of these coaches are disconnected from these nba idiots.

Look at what Tib has done for Nate Robinson of all people. 4th team in 3 years going from bench to bench, and now he's the primary scoring and ball handling option on a 2nd round playoff team that just beat the heat on the road.

To take a guy that I can only assume was feeling down on his luck, going from bench to bench and turn him in to a more than productive NBA starter is amazing and takes a ton of motivational ability

Nate was always a scorer. It's not like they have anyone else to go to.

Marco Belinelli and Nate played 46 and 40 minutes and the Heat only scored 86 points. That above anything shows what an amazing defensive scheme Tib has put in to this team

I don't know if that's the best example. Nate's always been super confident and is only starting because of injuries.

Nevertheless, Thibs is a phenomenal coach.

Its not like he's putting up numbers in losses, if that were the case then the "Its not like they have anyone else to go to" would be more relevant

That's why he rode the bench in the 4th quarter tonight.
