The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says the off-duty sergeant, who was working security, heard the gunshots and came running.
This is what we should be talking about instead of taking away guns, mental illness, blah de blah. Since Columbine, every K-12 campus should have had armed personnel patrolling just like college campuses have. Public places like movie theaters, etc. also should be looking to get properly trained personnel to work for them as well like this fine gentleman. I don't think it's a question of needing to arm every schmoe on the streets - it's a matter of having properly trained people in the right places to prevent or stop things from happening.
