#40Hey guys, just checking in with an update on some of the bugs:
- We are making progress on the caching issues that are causing trouble with login and displaying the correct last posts. If you are still having difficulty accessing your account, please email help@sportsbookreview.com with your username and device/browser details. I will provide another update on the caching issue once we have it fully resolved. Appreciate your patience there.
Still yet to be fixed but on the list:
- Embedding Twitter/X posts
- Search functionality
Thanks all!👍 2Comment -

#41Somehow, I still prefer the look of the old site, but maybe I'll get used to this new one. It does feel more lively👍 5Comment -

#42Quoting more than one post in a reply
With the new forum upgrade we now have a "multi-quote" feature, meaning that you can choose multiple posts to quote in one reply. Here is how to do that:
Click the "Quote button on each post that you want to quote:
You may be taken to the bottom of the page when you click your first quote - scroll up to select more posts that you would like to post. You will know you have already selected a post to be quoted in your reply when it is highlight in blue text like this:
Post Reply
You should see this button in the upper left corner of your screen as you scroll through the thread. If you do not see it, scroll to the top of the thread and it will be on the upper right side:
Notice the number in parentheses - this indicates how many posts you have selected to be quoted. When you are ready to reply to your quoted posts and make your reply, click the "Post Reply" button to be taken to the post editor, and make your post.
A word about Quote tags
Our forum software uses BBcode that tells the "system" how to format a post. When you go to make your replies to quoted posts, you will see something like this in the editor:
Notice that I have highlighted what are called "Quote Tags". These tags tell the site what to do with the text in between them. When you see [QUOTE= ] (1. in the screenshot above) text [/ QUOTE] (2. in the screenshot above) everything in between those tags will be shown in a quote box in the finished, submitted post. Like this:
If you put spaces within those tags or delete any brackets from those tags ([ ] ) you will break the formatting of the quote and it will not display properly when you submit your post. For this reason, it is important to NOT alter them in anyway. Always ensure that you begin typing your response after the [/ quote], and do not insert or type anything between the [quote= ] and [/quote ] tags.
(I have added space in the quote tags in my explanation above to prevent the tags from doing their job and "quoting" my explaining text in between them. I hope this makes sense! Please ask any questions you have about quotes or multi-quoting here in the thread.) 👍 1Comment -
