Spurs playing chess. They did this on purpose. They are tanking for ping pong balls in hope of getting Cooper Flagg that would look nice next to Wemby, Fox and Paul. They were barely a play-in team. Did we forget the Spurs tanked to get Timmy?

Castle is having a nice rookie season, Chris Paul enjoys working with him.

They just got Fox. This was not part of the plan. The Spurs would have to sit down a few more players. With the East so bad it's going to be hard. This is a big bummer for the rest of the season.

That was the year that David Robinson got injured. A team never got so lucky to pick up an injury.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

            You think so?
I think the East's top three (Boston, Cleveland. NYK) can ball with the best of the west.
Problem with the Knicks is Josh Hart cannot stay healthy, and KAT is vulnerable, but my oh my, is KAT having a career year or what?

What?! They're pretending he has a blood clot? Can't play with a blood clot.

Chance this could be a long term thing. Buford must be terrified. As the old adage goes, don't count your chickens before they've hatched.

They conveniently announce it after he played in the All Star game. Smells fishy to me.

‘Barkley called out their shenanigans but the Spurs ended up winning 5 titles anyway. Sometimes cheaters do prosper.

The NBA gave the Spurs Wemby as a gift to Popovich. Now they going to give him Cooper Flagg to round out the roster.

Or he goes to Utah. Watch…

I kinda hopes he does too. The league is better when there’s a lot of good teams. I would like to see him go to Chicago. They need a break as well. Billy Donovan really has had a bad break in the nba.

Al Horford was the starting center for Donovan's first Gator Nattty team.
Horford took the starting job away from David Lee as a freshman.

Utah?! Naw, that place is dead. He’s from Maine and going to school at Duke. What’s in between? Washington, DC! Trump needs to go to some NBA games, and what better place than next year court side at Wizards games and watching ROY Flagg!

It's in his shoulders rather than his legs -big difference apparently. Going to be a tussle between the French NT and the Spurs every off-season for this kid, with the decision ultimately coming down to Wemby.

Eurobasket this summer -possibly my favourite tournament in basketball

Sixers meanwhile... remember when they had Embiid/ Simmons/ Fultz and the future looked so bright?

Simmons & Fultz journeymen now. Embiid is going to be like Shaq at the end of his career once his current deal is up; a guy to put a team over the top provided he doesn't get hurt in the playoffs.

A one-of-a-kind Victor Wembanyama rookie card sold for $860,100 on Saturday night, setting a new record for one of his trading cards despite his season-ending injury being announced earlier in the week.

Wembanyama’s 2023 Panini Prizm Nebula Choice 1/1 card was sold at auction by Goldin. The final sale exceeded the previous record for a Wembanyama card — his 2023 Prizm Black Shimmer 1/1 rookie card, which sold for $516,000 last April — by a considerable margin, particularly notable given the uncertainty around his health.

                                                    Just needs a deeper bench.
The team that wins usually has the best 8-man rotation.
Most teams are six deep, not many teams are 8 deep.
That's why the C's are pretty much a mortal lock to repeat.
They have big Al, Pritchard (the best sixth man in the NBA), Kornet... coming off the bench.

Pritchard is like a dagger to the opposition when he's shooting straight, and he usually is.
I've seen Pritchard pop for 12 points in a three-minute span several times.

They need a lot more than that. Trading Fox would be a good start.

I don't know about Fox, CP3 is like 1000 years old, they need a veteran in that backcourt with Castle.

He's 27yo. Probably got 7 years left as a starter. Not a dynamic player. His game will not age well.
