I also think the late-move is telling. I think the direction is correct. Notre Dame price was getting frothy, off the two playoff wins.

Its not hard.......Franklin vs. Freeman (ND coach). Seriously, how long did you need to think about this? Franklin got by an overachieving small SMU team, and a non-power Boise. Is Allard that much better than Leonard to overcome the coaching mismatch? No way. Serious, did anybody really believe Franklin can get to a title game? Smoke your crak pipe if you did!
