I felt like writing an open apology to SBR.
See, when I joined here a few months ago, I became fascinated that there were places where other gamblers could and would share information and discuss games, give advice, etc. This excitement lead me to a flurry of posting activity which endeared me to some and annoyed others. Needless to say, being a part of this community for a short while opened my eyes to the possibilities of players helping each other out for the common good of beating the books and becoming sharper/wiser players.
At the same time, I was exposed to this greater community called 'forumville' comprised of this forum and others of the same nature. I chose to settle in at another forum that suits me better. My departure was of a relatively quiet nature, as I believe any switching should be. However, my actions since then, upon subsequent return visits to SBR have been a lil out of character and warrant this apology. Instead of just staying gone, I chose to come back here to 'swirl in some of the drama' and even gain points to pass to a friend.
Those actions are not what made me appreciate posting at this or any other site. I'm excited to posting at sites like this to talk sports, share information and learn to become sharper/wiser. The drama games are not really my specialty and is something I need to stay out of, especially if I want to focus more on gaining valuable knowledge. And given this is SBR's website, whenever I am here, I need to remember this is their territory and I should not walk into someone else's home and bad mouth them, as well as mention other similar websites.
It is with that said that I offer my sincerest apologies to SBR, SBR John and anyone else offended by my actions. And while I am at it, I'd like to apologize to Bread for our lil rivalry over mofome. I may have nothing but the utmost respect for mofome, but do not need to come to your site and get on you for your choice of avatars or discussion topics- that is YOUR business.
If my apology is accepted and truly appreciated, I'd also ask that my posting rights be restored, such as PMs (which I did not abuse privileges) and being able to fully edit my signature and such. These things aren't that important to someone who may not be around that much anymore, but it's the principle of it that I'd like corrected. And it'd be a way for SBR to give me a 2nd chance to conductive myself properly any time that I spend here.
Considering I care about sharing information, I hope it's okay to talk about and pass on a show hosted by John Kelly called Winning Wednesdays. This show gives great insight/knowledge about the gambling and offshore industry, as well as some picks on some games :-)
You can listen to first show at http://www.talkzone. com/archive.asp?aid=40986 by of course, not putting a space between the . and com.
I believe in the show's potential so much and see it as another way for us all to gain more knowledge.
Listen SBR, my goal here isn't to recruit anyone across the street, or just to promote a show I was overjoyed to listen to. No, my goal is more of being able to maintain this place as somewhere I can come to from time to time like some of the other veteran posters, without restriction, and be able to share information freely, just so long as I conduct myself properly.
In any event, whether or not I'm granted full rights to stop by here and there, I really do wish everyone here well. And it is my hope that wherever you post or search for information from, that there can be a peace amongst posters where the goal of helping others to beat the books is first and foremost.
Thank you for your time,
The Integrity Kid...
