i have watched him play since HS.

he has more talent than 90% of QB's ever drafted, already, i promise you.

today he will play a very strong houston team on the road on SNF and is expected to lose.

i don't need to check in 5 years.

we can check again on 12/31/2025 at the end of next season.

you just hate him because he acted a bit smug but his coaches and teammates LOVE him.

i have watched him play since his HS senior year.

There have been far worse environments for quarterbacks than the one he's currently in. They brought in reinforcements on the offensive line, drafted a WR and a pass catching TE, plus Diontae from the Steelers. And Dave Canales is the guy who breathed life back into Mayfield's career last year. Stop acting like Bryce is just a victim of circumstances, not even close.

It's not just that the Panthers are losing, they are dreadful. Bryce is a bust. His mechanics are all wrong and I don't think he has it upstairs either.

There's something to be said about pocket presence when you enter the NFL. The game just slows down for them. You can tell those that have it and those that don't. Purdy had it right away. Stroud also. Marino had it. Some QB's take a year or two. Some never do and will never be an elite NFL QB. Tua never had it.

I think we will see by week 8 or so if Caleb Williams is gonna be great. He has a great arm. He shows signs he will be good. Real good.

The only game he has missed was in Week 3 a year ago when then-coach Frank Reich sat the rookie who had been dealing with an ankle injury. Andy Dalton passed for 361 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-27 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Last year Young missed 1 game. here was what his back up did.

Well that might have been the ugliest 3rd quarter of any football game I have ever watched. Had to have broken an NFL record for punts and flags in a quarter. Probably also broke a record for the most 1 yard passes as well. Maybe someone should tell Williams 1 yard every play doesn't add up to enough to get a first down in 3 plays.

Stroud wasn't that great either. Houston d is solid. Bears were better off with Fields but they will have to suffer with Williams for this season. Kid holds the ball way too long.

Honest to God, it was brutal.
I had to turn it off and switch over to SNB on ESPN.
That Braves game was really good until LA broke it wide open in the ninth inning.

With the exception of a few games, so far, the first two weeks of the NFL season has sucked.

Bears were one of the top running teams in the NFL last season. Fields is 2-0 so far.

We will see how Williams pans out. Not a fan of this guy but he is a rookie.
