Garcia has 10 days to request 2nd sample (B sample) so it’s not technically official that he used banned substances. But it’s highly unlikely the results will be different.

If it is official, then most likely they will vacate his win and make the fight no contest. However, books won’t officially change the result. If you won, you’re keeping your money. If you lost, maybe a few books would void the loss but it’s not mandatory.

Interesting, Garcia bet on himself and won big. Don’t know where he placed the bet, but if he did it in Nevada, then they might take that in consideration of a tougher suspension. Basically, he screwed himself.

Books honor the result on the field only. I know this has been a big deal following the aftermath of race horses failing drug tests in the days after Kentucky derby etc

Most books have a term that says something like, penalties or rulings that change results later do not affect betting.

Garcia looked to be a lot faster than Haney..I'm not sure I see that changing
