don’t really post a lot anymore but disappointing it that’s the case with nasher. I think Mpash did mention to me that Donker was done posting but didn’t say why. Always got a chuckle from Donk about his sex stories from the 90’s. Maybe Nasher can chime in & get to the bottom of this.

SBR was the Mecca of chit chat back in the day. It appears that’s all gone.

Rarely interact on the site myself these days, but came into this thread since it was Philly’s. As for Donk, I don’t think he was necessarily bullied, but instead censored by the new management (they removed a picture of Tucker Carlson flipping off the camera). He felt if that was the direction of the SBR…then he didn’t want to waste his time on the site. The fun locker room atmosphere had turned into the woke environment of today’s world.

I have to admit, it’s a different environment now on the site. If that’s the way the new management wants things, it’s their right to do so. However many of the old timers will move on (which many already have). Question is, will they attract enough new people with what they offer now to make their business model work. I guess time will tell.

As for me, my Pro Membership ends tomorrow. Don’t really see a reason to renew. Maybe there will be something worth while in the future…but for now I don’t see it being worth it.

I've been on many sports-betting message boards. Goes back a long way. If you can't enjoy the camaraderie with fellow posters, then what's the point?

I really never paid any attention to the "woke" movement. But I've come to recognize it more now. Wow, who wants to spend time living thru someone else's world-view? I don't get it.

It's different than before, but still has value without a doubt.

Chucky….always enjoyed “talking” with you as well. Hopefully one of these days our paths will cross in Vegas.

As far as woke/political agenda, I usually stayed away from those threads here because neither side is changing the other side’s mind. SBR usually let things go and the two sides would continually go around in circles.

However the way the world is today, you now have to accept the woke side or you’re wrong. Companies, government, etc will certainly let you know that. So to expect SBR to be any different than this agenda, is only wishful thinking.

At my age, I’m just looking to work 5 to 7 more years and then head off to some small town and go off the grid as much as possible.

I doubt a a few $100 amazon gift card contests will move any needles. Or jersey drawings. Lol. Esp with pts being useless.

Hey, I'm not the only one who used the "C" word. You thought I was a lone wolf, you were wrong. The cat is out of the bag. SBR is a woke joke.

You might not be throwing a hissy fit now, only because you realized that stance was counterproductive, but you sure as hell threw a hissy fit then. We're not supposed to peer behind the curtain and see your porky little ass pulling cranks and levers.

I'd be inclined to use an emoticon right about now but those aren't compatible with SBR's primitive software.
