    Random NYK/MIA Game 2 Thoughts
I'm starting to think Erik Spoelstra should have won the Coach of the Year Award.
What he did tonight without Butler, even though his Heat lost, and all year with Butler is nothing short of miraculous.

It's beyond me why Isiah Hartenstein isn't New York's starting center?
He's a better center than Robinson, and deserves 28 minutes a game, not the 20 he averages.
The dude loves to bang and get dirty, and New Yorkers love him too.

I really don't need those Aaron Rodgers crowd shots any more.
Rodgers is no more a New Yorker than Vlad Putin is.

Is it just me but everytime the camera shows Coach Thibs standing up his facial expression looks like he just ate a bad slab of halibut.
I'm really not the one to speak as I am the furthest thing from a GQ cover boy, but Thibs may want to look into Hair Club for Men.
Know this though, Thibs, like his counterpart tonight, is a hell of a coach.

Oh, that was a mighty fine entertaining game.

Nasher this game was fixed. That Brunson /HArdenstein 4 point play was a common foul. The Heat got a rebound and layup and they call a shot clock violation.

The first game with a star injury I don’t give as much credit to the coach. I think it’s the players that step up. The second game without a star is when you see a coaches talent because the backup players level off

I was going to add that in my random thoughts OP.

I'm sitting here, turn to Ally and said "Huh, that sure as hell hit the rim", and I saw that, and I'm an idiot.
I had no skin in that game, I waffled between Miami and New York all day, and decided to pass, but if I were a Heat fan, I'd be pissed.

And Vincent, like Hartenstein is so underrated, thing with Vincent though he's 'spotty'

Great game but the Knicks need to tighten up on D if they want to make it any further in the playoffs.

Holy crap, after 12 plus years we finally see eye to eye on something?

What's next, cats and dogs living together?

I like to 'spit out' random thoughts from time to time, make for some funny and interesting feedback.

I know going in there may be some dogpiling involved, don't really care, I can laugh at myself and roll with it too, nine times out of ten it won't bother me, unless it becomes personal, then that's a different story.

              Thanks for reading.

We needed more shots of Jessica Alba and less shots of Aaron Rodgers and Sauce Gardner

Yea, that was odd. Were the Heat out of challenges at that point? Only saw the 4th quarter and the announcers didnt say anything about that.

I believe Spoelstra still had that challenge in his back pocket.

Just as odd, that three pointer Brunson hit halfway through the fourth quarter, the play where Bam was trying to clear out Hartenstein, no doubt Bam gives him a shove, but to my naked eye that push that sent Hartenstein to the floor was before the act of shooting.

To me that should have called common foul, side out, not three points for New York PLUS a free throw.
Assuming NYK doesn't score on the side out, that's a four point swing in favor of New York.

You cant challenge that play. Refs couldnt review it because it wasnt inside of 2 mins.

Lucky for the Heat there is such a big gap between games 2 and 3.

In post #15, which call are you referring to?
The 24 second clock violation call, or the push off foul by Bam on Brunson's three pointer?

Why? game 1 was close when the knicks were missing their best player. game 2 was close when the heat were missing their best player. so why are the knicks toast?????

As Shaq would say the Knicks are BBQ chicken then and not toast.

Heat now hold the home court advantage in the playoffs for starters after splitting the 1st two games in NY. Jimmy Buckets will be unstoppable at home as he may have a sore ankle but he will have fresh legs sitting out the last game..
