Are Yankees in danger of losing the Division east title
Could be a 4 game lead with still 30 plus games remaining in regular season.

This is unbelievable they cannot hit anymore

It’s going to be the worst lineup in baseball

Yankees now have 29 games left. They are coming apart at the seams. I'm only circling them in for two easy wins against the Pirates. the rest are toss-ups. 4 of their last 6 losses have been 1 run defeats. Can't be losing these close games. Boone should trade his post game rants to the Press for a visit to a NYC dispensary. Chill and be a leader for once!

They were up 15.5 games on the second place team a month ago, now they're only up 13.5 games on the last place team; they're looking like the '51 Dodgers or '78 Red Sox.

Yankees have been a feast or famine offense for years.

They strike out a ton and if they aren't hitting homers, not scoring many runs.

I'd love to see Tampa pass them in the standing and the NY fans meltdown...

as a fan i rather them lose and hopefully cash and boone get the boot. even if they make the playoffs i have no faith they will do anything. it is judge or nothing for the lineup.

Might be the last season with Judge...

I have a feeling SF is going to go hard after him. He is a local kid and they need a young player to build around.

i like him a lot but i am not dead set on keeping him as a fan. he will be 31 at the beg of next season. any contract over 4 years is not worth it unless he is like bonds and is better as he gets older (which we don't know) or if the contract is front loaded for his prime years.

judge is a late bloomer so this is his one big contract.

the season is so g0ddamn long seems like it never ends. IDK how a pitchers arm can hold up the whole season. You take the lead oh too bad another 50 games left anyways what does it matter.

thats the issue with him negotiating with the yankees he wants a 10 year deal.

Yanks can't score runs and Dodgers pitching is suspect now with all the injuries.

I think both teams are in trouble going into the playoffs.

To early to make that assumption. Baseball is all about momentum. If the Yanks get hot before the end of the season they could carry that in to the playoffs. Same with any other playoff bound team.

Agreed. It's all about momentum and confidence going into the playoffs in baseball. Time will tell?

Still the Yanks and Dodgers look to be really flirting on edge of mediocrity right now with their current play and injury situations.
