I Watched that. He didn't want his team to get boo'd and probably wanted to tell his players great season. Also I'm sure friends of his or boosters said cover the spread jerk!

Yeah I know. Usually they like to tell their team in the heat of the moment, they had a good season, etc. He certainly didn’t have to though. If the spread was 12 and he did it, I wouldn’t have thought twice about it.

Yep. He did get booed when he called the timeout though by an all Wisconsin crowd. I’d be shocked if the timeout talk didn’t consist of we had a great season, this game is over, don’t foul them, we want to cover the point spread. They had to do a token trap because if he calls the timeout and they stand there it would look pretty bad.

probably wanted all their backers to cash since they had no chance of winning. a pointless foul there at the end just ruins all their supporters' nights. it was a solid effort, and they had a chance to win throughout. Just ran out of gas and couldn't stop the player of the year
