I think Butler is a fantastic player and a top 15 at all times but Durant and curry break the metrics with the strengths of their game

Anyone else just see Jokic dominate Embiid on defense, force him into a missed layup and then run the length of the floor for his own basket to seal the win? Crazy stuff. Definitely MVP moment if you ask me. A true force on both ends of the floor.

That means, for people like you, that Embiid completely dominated Jokic in this game.

Phiadelphia was 13 points better than Denver when both Embiid and Jokic were on the court.

I think Embiid ended the debate tonight. They had to take Jokic off the floor because he simply couldn’t guard Embiid. It’s not close. Jokic is a great player but Embiid on a different level.

This matchup tonight sums it up. Embiid scores more points, but Jokic gets the win in spite of a much weaker supporting cast. Rather like LeBron James vs Carmelo Anthony in their early years, only at the centre position.

Tobias Harris: 10pts in 37mins -----this would never happen if Jokic was his teammate. He's become the weak link on this Sixers team and it's because there just aren't enough shots for him.

I prefer Jokic but I would possibly concede that Embiid is better in the h2h matchup (in spite of the game result just now) simply because he's the bigger guy -might sound obscene to a non-basketball person but I watch a lot of basketball at various levels and you see quite often at the centre position an inferior guy win the matchup just with physicality. Like Shaq vs Howard when Shaq was on his last legs, or that former okc player Dakari Johnson beasting some future nba star in summer league. Where is he now? -exactly!

Again, Embiid was +10 on the court, Jokic was negative.

Philly completely dominated Denver when Embiid and Jokic were on the court, and it wasn't even close.

Philly tired legs were clear last night. OT game and the got back to Philly about 3am. It’s not uncommon for these turn around games to go with the team who had the night off.

It was clear that Embiid did dominate Jokic. Anybody who watched the game could see that. But they benched Jokic for most of the second half because he was getting killed out there.
