Covid and the Nfl playoffs? Nfl said what is covid, never heard of it, and don’t care one bit

Not so fast, there's another game left... and two weeks for these guys to get caught up by the bug doing the media rounds and so forth. We're probably gonna experience a spate of Omicron outbreaks that could jeopardize the integrity of the game.

Don't you worry. Right back to isolation, concentration camps, and full-blown testing as soon as the SB is over. You just don't understand. COVID goes dormant in NFL playoff stadiums just as it does when you sit down at a restaurant (but from the door to the seats its penetrating viral man).

There is enough immunity now that most of Trumptards either died or got vaccinated. It was going to go away once the herd immunity was reached by either vaccination or deaths.

No, that's incorrect. It was/is and will continue to be a control mechanism. If you haven't figured this out by now then you're basically a fresh mound of clay awaiting whatever shape the mighty hand bestows you.

I believe it was something like 70 positives a week in the NFL regular season and then once the playoffs started it came to an abrupt halt... Not a gradual dimmer switch, it was more like someone unplugged the lamp. I get that there's fewer teams in the playoffs, but the sum total of the games played in the postseason is equal to that of a regular season week.

There was no guarantee I was even going to be right when I made this thread. We could've had a spate of positives and I would've looked like a dummy. But of course it's not about health, professional athletes aren't high risk anyways, it's about campaigning for compliance, and the campaign took a break to allow that playoff money to pour in.

How many teams made the playoffs? The law of averages says that positives will go down the least amount of teams are tested. So you go from 32 to 14 to 8 to 4 to 2 teams getting tested in playoffs so the contact between infected players of other teams is diminished.

I already addressed that..

When you factor in bye weeks, there's about 14 games a week in the regular season. We had 13 in the postseason, so teams that moved on from the WC round had a bigger window for positive tests than a team in the regular season would have because they continue to be tested for the duration of their playoff stay, ostensibly anyways.

Not to mention, even if any of the four teams with byes had positive tests during the WC round we would have heard about it, so technically the postseason represented an even greater risk for positives that the regular season. Again, you don't go from 70 a week to nothing just because.

But who cares, if you're still buying the lie that's on you.
