Army/Navy Game Broke every college football betting record possible
Singled out on a Saturday, with a remarkable streak in play, Army-Navy will go down as one of the most heavily bet regular-season college football games ever at U.S. sportsbooks, with tens of millions of dollars at stake across the nation.

Public won HUGE on the Under, that "remarkable streak in play". Under now 15-0 last 15 Army/Navy games and 41-9 last 50 Armed Forces games.

There was 48 points in 10 and 11. You are saying those both went under? Someone else said it was 17 straight before the game. I was trying it look it up myself but I could only confirm 6 straight.

Navy was one of highest scoring teams in the nation in that era lots of totals in the 70's vs other teams

Not necessarily true. I have a lot of friends who are new at gambling.... and the low total made them take the over. Some people just don't look at stats between 2 teams. You set a total at like 35... people just take the OVER because it looks so low.

This is a good point. If you just look at their ppg the total should have been around 50 actually. They will always get into some shootouts yearly because a bad run defense will give up big plays against them and their own defense can’t stop any decent offense. The only way this will go over is special team help or short fields from turnovers. Just look at this site. Every post on a total is the over.

Should have included 2005 went Over at 42-23 with Total 50, so streak did indeed start in 2006

But this streak was so highly publicized before the game it was practically impossible to escape it.

This is also a good point. However, every USA site is always geared to points. Their same game parlays often only have one side of a bet based on scoring happening. Crookstool bets overs with some blonde bimbo and has the overs tournament. These sites are pushing players to where they want to go anyways. One of the pa books had a promo for points be scored on this very game, 2 dollars per point free play. You don’t think that pushes players to the over? Everything at USA books is geared to scoring, much more than the offshores ever did.
