Not refering to Rudy but myself. This isn't a personal family matter. When you have spent 1/3 of your supporting the site, being a pro ever year, supporting contest/sponsors/pros, doing everything the right way, never being banned or caught up in scandal, and not being a "broke dikk" and cashing out all the time for pizza, I think we at least deserve the respect as adults to say.

Total side note. The one thing that always baffled me is there is no quoting notifications in sbr. I don't ignore people just don't have time to scroll through the countless threads looking at my posts to see others (if there is I've been doing this wrong a long time).

I bring it up because I've asked Spider. You speak very clearly about how eveyrthing will be ok with authority. This will not violate the NDA

1. You can confirm you have spoken with ownership, they are still "transitioning" and sbr will still have contests/points/poker etc? (there are no dumb questions at this point)

2. If Yes? Also, what is the expected time frame? That's all we are asking. They shouldn't have a problem with us being told.

3. Bonus request. Have em post a damn two sentence update. I just hope this all gets resolved before the NCAA contest

I don’t have an attorney and when you tell you the truth you don’t need one. They rudy 3 point thing I saw after I sent to BTJ. Rudy also asked me to send him 5000 and I did not. Once I realized he was right…..it stopped. If I wanted to cause problems I would have done worse.

Besides sending picks for games to beatthejerk… I have really no communication with him. It’s not that deep. It was a random number and was pretty shocking that it worked. Rudy says lots of things on here. He called me a dumb ass and I was simply gonna prove him wrong. He actually proved he was right.

I’ve been through worse here before and don’t want him to be disheartened as it can feel quite horrible when you feel you’re copping it for things you don’t even know how to fix. I promise you once I talk to the new owners I’ll say something and until then will wait for Optional’s post. I have been reassured that there is going to be a heavy investment in SBR and it’ll be bigger and better than ever but until I actually speak to someone other than via email, it’s all just gobbledygook to me. I have been assured they're not useless at all. What the new SBR Store will look like, I can't guarantee as I'm never involved in that anyway. So it may change a bit as far as offerings, etc but we've been assured that the Betpoints will be honoured as good or better than previously.

I'm not a points person obviously but I know many are and this was something that was discussed when a staff member e-met with them.

I've been here a long time before spider was even just a poster. It's the simplest of questions, yet they seem to be the hardest answers/no response. He's juggling a ton at sbr but....how about....

"Yes, I've spoken to ownership. We hope the site to be up and running by x day seems" like a fuggin impossible answer to pull out of a mod.

The mods have all stated they have no idea what is going on. Whatever they tell you is not going to be worth anything anyway.

This thing is not going as planned. They clearly did not expect any of this. Neither SBR nor the new ownership knew what they were doing.

There is a plan in place. We are not going to see it for a while. All you can do is sit back and wait until they bring out the new site. When the new owners are running this, it will be obvious and then you will start to get some feedback.

I never want to see someone become overwhelmed or disheartened especially when they had nothing to do with whatever decision was made.

A month ago when the annoucement was made that there would be a transfer of ownership, we were all told the same thing ie nothing would change, etc. Then radio silence for almost a month while the staff still here copped the wrath of posters, tried to figure out how to do things, received no assistance, etc. To not be able to even answer an email or live chat is just unfathomable. But we've been apologised to and acknowledged that this was handled wrongly so it's a wing and a prayer really.

And we all have our own other jobs, families, lives to lead and this has just been so hectic and horrible it almost seems not worth it. But like I keep saying I have all my faith in John and his decisions. In almost 12 years he's never once let me down, even if we made a bad judgement call about something I know he wasn't doing it to screw his staff or posters over.

I may look like a bigger fool than I normally do in 2 months if this all goes pear-shaped but I don't think it will. I've been apologised to as have other staff for little to no communication, etc and until a few things are sorted out I won't be talking with them as I have to maintain some backbone for myself. After that though I'll be more than happy to share what they have to say. From what I've already heard though I think we're ok

IMO this is a great website. Light years ahead in many areas. I was an Rx poster, a little at Covers. This joint is wayyy better in every aspect.
