Seems like UNC has too much firepower. These 2 programs are going in different directions.

I took the bait and loaded up on UNC. The line is fishy but I've got to go with the better talent and the better QB. I also took VaTech under 28. UNC defense should be much improved.

I hate VT with a passion, but will have to admit playing a night game in Blacksburg has been tricky for opposing teams and it's a sellout tonight. Staying away from this one.

No question that UNC has by far, the better QB. They also have a better HC which begs the question of just how Fuentes, who has been a huge disappointment at Tech, will react to the very hot seat he is sitting on. I seriously doubt that UNC's defense improves very much, having lost their leading tackler, but they can't get much worse, having forced a conference low 11 turnovers last season. The line is dropping to 5 1/2 all over Vegas. As many in here found out last night, 1/2 point can mean a lot.

Masr I might end up on VA Tech myself. Probably not because any 25 year old trends where 8 games were played.

I do however think the best effort we will get from VA Tech all year will probably be tonight. They’ve sucked ass lately, but in game one at night against a top ten team, hope springs eternal. They have the talent to compete, I think, but in general that’s not really been the problem under Fuente, it’s that they tend to look lost most of the time, so that’s really the concern, are they gonna blow ass or not. But if they’re ever gonna be focused it’ll be tonight. UNC should win here but I don’t know, I kinda got a feeling this one won’t be easy for them. I need to let this swim around my few remaining brain cells for a bit before I do anything official though. I also don’t blame anyone who would take UNC either, early in the season the easy looking ones cash moreso than once we get into October and such, and a lot of times it’s because the books can rely on dickheads like me who want to overthink everything like this game right chea

Go look at their home record since 2018 and get back to me on that.

2018 at home they were housed by Miami, G Tech, Notre Dame and lost to BC. 2019 HOUSED at home by Duke and barely beat UNC by 2. 2020 lost to Miami, Liberty and were absolutely undressed by Clemson. Their defense gave up 32 points per game last year on avg. NC should have no issue lighting them up in my opinion.

Va Tech also gave up 450 yards per game last year, we will see if it has improved but if it hasn’t? Expect a Heisman candidate in his third season to have a big night.

to me the line is dead in the water, it open -5.5-13 and now sit at 5.5-06 unc to start the season always start slow in the 1st half, i would move the 1st half to 4 and take tech for the 1st half

^^^ you are correct, but for some reason tech always played unc close most games, they really get up for unc 2 teams that really like to play unc are tech and n dame
