It really is. I have Philly +700 so I wasn't too upset when DeGrom got pushed way back.

I have to disagree though that the Mets are heading in the right direction....whoever said that. I know it wasn't Konck.

Do you they have young talent in the farm system, because this roster sucks! Lindor $32/mil a year until 2031? Hell his ops was only like .820 normally with Cleveland. He won't even be average by 2025. I'm assuming he'll reach average this year or that he might be good for a few years, but $32/mil says you're supposed to be great imo! Conforto went to shit. IDK? My Reds have a ton of young talent. Hunter Greene #2 overall pick throwing 42 pitches over 100mph in a game. The Mets should trade DeGrom to the Reds for a bunch of guys in the offseason.

Also count me as a Javy Baez fan. Yeah its hard to walk him, but he plays hard and that cannon of his plays on defense. Reds game the other day, he threw out Suarez at the plate and then gunned one to 3rd on Farmer's triple and missed getting him by inches. Saved 1 run and almost 2. Plus he can play 2B or 3B. A team would have a great lineup if he was hitting 6th or 7th. Plus he's only making $11.6 mil this year. He might get $20 mil per year? Idk? He's got 18 errors and he's still +5 on defensive runs saved above replacement

I think that Pittsburgh trade with Austin Meadows and Tyler Glasnow for Chris Archer is the dumbest trade I've ever seen in my 40+ years of analyzing baseball.
