I will forget about my money the day i get it back. If i was involved with Pointbet now or one of their forum posting shills I would be a worried man.

#114Would be interested in seeing people put in when they requested the withdrawal, how long they have been waiting, and when was the last time they were paid.
I have seen some payouts for late January, but nothing since.Comment -

#115Hi,
Firstly I present myself. I am Guillermo from Spain, and I registered here because I am another victim of scam of Pointbet.
I have to be grateful to this site because you helped me in 2005 be paid an amount which bet-at-home debted me, but now the situation is different. It seems a total scam, I have an important amount retained, and I am waiting for 2 withdrawals, the first of them was in January 5th.
These days I am entering this forum looking for news, I will write if I know something new.
Regards.Comment -

#116Moneybookers and pointbet
Hi!
I am another sucker of Pointbet. They owe me "only" about
$8000.
Have you got new info from"dear" Moneybookers?
I would really know why they transfer deposits still to
Pointbet after that situation.
If I had to say goodbye my money than I would like
to f**k them well...Comment -

#124Similar for me - although if I retype www1.pointbet.com after trying to log in I find that I AM logged in, so I can still get into my account
They haven't been paying anyone for a couple of months and that probably includes web developers, so don't be surprised. Site going offline date will be soon, I think.Comment -

#130Hi all,
the last time I received money from pointbet was in January:
29778879 24 Jan 07 05:42 Receive Money from cashiereuro@pointbet.com 260.00 processed 260.00 ID W20701000437. The request was honoured within 5 days.
I asked for one more withdrawal three weeks ago. After five days of that withdrawal not being processed I asked them to cancel the withdrawal, which they did almost inmeadetily (I do sports arbitrage trading and ran out of funds at pointbet).
I also had problems with their login. Live support told me tu to use www1 and www2 which worked fine. Last weekend htere was obviusly no one logging in their site as there was nothing displayed in their "most popular bet" box. the site was then up again on monday, I think, until tonight at about 1:30 am (GMT +1).
Today the site is gone, instead, the homepage of their hosting company is displayed.
Sorry for all of you (and me included, I lost about 460 Euros with them)
The question is know: is there a way of officially claiming our money?
Despite of the bad news today, to all of you a nice day.

#134It might sound naive but i suppose that in some countries like U.K or Germany there are law firms that specialize in internet frauds. If any member lives in such a country, what about just asking about this situation. There might be a way to put them in court... The money that those bastards owe are too much and so many law firms would be interested in such a case (that is if of course there are possibilities to win it)Comment -

#135"that is if of course there are possibilities to win it"
even if you track them down and get them in court and even win your case (all big if's), i think it is pretty safe to assume they went down because they didn't have any money, and therefore won't be able to pay you anyway.Comment -

#138As a side note, Pointbet does a lot of server tweaking and has been off-line for days at a time. It's possible that the site will come back online. Until recently (maybe yesterday) the IP was 72.20.9.131 which still shows a live redirect page. The IP is now 66.150.161.140. We will probably know tomorrow if it is coming back online or not.Comment -
