That's the rumor. I was curious why the Packers season wins total wasn't up at several books that other day.

#24Many of us Packer fans are fine with him leaving. I haven’t personally interacted with a single person who has fretted over this possibility. Yes, they would not be as good, but whatever. It’s been a great almost 30 year run at QB, but nothing last forever. His attitude has grown tired to a good portion of the fan base.
Additionally, with the Bucks winning the title, the Brewers being respectable and with the sustained competitiveness of the University of Wisconsin football and basketball programs, we have teams doing well.
Regardless of whether or not he plays this year, I can see them trading him at the end of the year. He’s petty as hell and would love an opportunity to show up the current management team.Comment -

#28Admittedly, I don't read all these news stories. What is his main grievance?
Is he that bent about the Packers drafting Love w/ a hi draft-pick? It's their right to draft the guy. Also, an older QB might be prone to more injuries.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#32GB put a power move on Rodgers with trading up for Love when their defense just gave up 285 rushing to SF. It failed horribly!! Now they're going to double down and refuse to trade him and let him retire? WTF? That is some of the dumbest shit I've ever seen in the world of sports.
Trade him and move along. You could do worse then Love/Bortles imo. Love's numbers at Utah State were slightly better then Josh Allen's at Wyoming in the same conference. They both had atleast 1 season with a bunch of scrub white/Mormon WRs and some token black dudes that couldn't play. Love's just happened to be his senior year.
If Adams (and a BIG IF?) is still on board then I think GB still wins the division! Vikings are played out w/Cousins and their defense went to shit. Detroit is Detroit. The Bears? Their offense is p h king horrible. I like Justin Fields, but he's not coming in there and turning it around his rookie season. Their O-line is complete shit and their defense is slightly overrated. GBs young defense is as good as Chicago's and they have a top 5-10 O-line and Aaron Jones and Tonyan at TE. They're still the best talent in the division if their QB play is even close to averageComment -

I got my videos mixed up but you can see the :30 throw and alot of other touch passes. Mobile with cannon arm and touch too? I can try and coach that up!
:30 Love rolls left and goes Mahomes on them. Thats not normal
2:13 40 yard strike hits a closely defended receiver in the chest
2:46 50 yard strike with a little flick of the wrist and without stepping up....hits the guy in stride for a TDComment -

#35The front office in Green Bay reminds me of the lyrics of that Kinks song "Well Respected Man"
They are just pretentious ultra conservative self righteous clowns who do everything "safe"
Really they have always taken 'the best player' on the board, never drafting to fill a need except in 99 after Moss debuted and changed the nature of defense in the NFL.
They stumbled into Favre, and Rodgers landed in their lap. But I cannot see another trade of draft puck they've made since 1990 that was 'taking a shot' or a 'great call' and what I mean is, say, the Vikes, who always draft mid pack, have drafted all pros, ROYs and hall of famers in this timeline. Guys like Moss, Harvin, Peterson, Rice, Cook, Smith, Patterson, Rhodes, Kendricks, etc
Guys that were drafted a little high or had some issues.
The Pack don't make trades either. I mean look at the Bears & the Vikes always trading for All Pro pieces when they have a shot. Mack turned Chi into a 13 win team. The Vikes go out and get a Jared Allen or Steve Hutchinson and they're a 12 win team.
GB never makes the move to get over the top.Comment
