They should start paying people to go to sports games like Phillies games. 5-10 dollars. Most people would spend 2-3x that on beer and food. Citizens ball park isn’t even a third full.

28,780 was paid attendance. Many people aren’t gonna come out on these very hot days. If they get the bullpen together and make a move in this very weak division…..the stadium will fill up in august. I’ve had season tickets since 2007….it works this way a lot with them.

By August Philadelphia will be out of contention and it will only be hotter. Many older people are still hesitant to go places with big crowds.

Watching on tv there is zero chance attendance was over 25k, those attendance numbers are bs. There were massive amounts of empty seats.
