What's the longest game since the new rule? Has it gone 14 yet?

Great question, not sure. One thing it isn’t ending this one any quicker
Now the angels giving the game away with the walk and wild pitch, so frustrating
Canning will likely now be forced to bat, can see Kapler managing the inning that way if the Angels get a run back

Wow, now an infield hit scores two runs, because of the damn shift
inning would have been over without the shift

          Manfred is a clown

MLB needs to dump replay and 3 batter rule and checking pitchers, guy on 2nd, 7 inning, etc

You wanna speed the game up and make it fun, real simple:

1-Center field min 425, alleys min 400, corners 315. This brings back small ball.

2- game day roster is 14 players. 25 man active roster, but u can only use 14 players in a game.

          It's that simple.

                Dude, that's nuts.

And those dimensions are weird. Even if they lengthen parks, they still can't play small ball.

I think it's a great idea...you'd basically limit yourself to 4 pit hers per game and you'd need a utility guy

Since Baltimore built that bandbox in 91 or whatever an entire generation of kids grew up hitting pop up home runs 385 ft into the gaps. Ball that were outs for 100 years suddenly became rbis. League has to implement some standard for fence length to force teams to structure a roster that maintains the integrity of the game, this would likely eliminate most shifts as well because those softball players would be stuck in aa or aaa

I think the books love these new rules because it’s yet another great way to make a player go on tilt. Seriously, WTH? Had to be Giants too. We didn’t get our runs in yet, game can’t end. Pitchers melting down just because a runner starts in 2nd. Where are the mental coaches to coincide all the freebies with science and nutrition these athletes are afforded?

Lagares scored from first on an infield chop, replay was 50/50 at best. Called safe by the ump, not sure how Ny overruled that play. Killed the Under and the side

The 1st base ump in Yanks game last night said the Yanks batter didn't swing on 2 batters late in the game when they did, in fact, clearly swing. They ended up scoring in one of those innings with 2 outs......go figure. Royals got robbed in that game.

I've had about 4 extra innings destroy my under bet so far this year. I recall one game was 1-1 and ended up going over the total. That shit will put you on tilt......

This is wrong. The Kingdome opened in 1977 and was 316 down the lines, 357 to the gaps and 410 to center, which was very similar to other AL ballparks of the 70's. Juicing is the reason for today's homer-centric game.
