They are too small to ever be great defenders. It’s an excellent choice. That Pistons team Billups won a title with was probably the most underrated team in the last 21 years.

no head coach has had head coaching experience before he became a head coach. one thing that seems to help and that’s being a former nba player I think the players respect that more and are more willing to buy in

Billups a great pick. He played on some Detroit teams that arguably had one of the greatest defenses ever and shut down the Lakers 4-1 in the 2004 FINALS. Billups knows how to get a team playing hard every posession. This team needs to be motivated and challenged more than anything. They take entire quarters off thinking they will shoot their way back. Players respond better to former players today.

Agree. He's calm and collected, went to b2b finals. Owned the East for a while. Went to the west and took Melo and Denver to the west finals in his first year. Would have won too if not for Kobe standing in his way.

Kawhi is the ultimate team guy but he's not as skilled as Dollar. Give Lillard those same types of teams and he will breeze his way to a ring. Never forget who ended Paul George and Westbrook in the playoffs with Myers Leonard as Lillard's second best player.
