I don't think it reads like this lk.

You can only use a team once in the week. It doesn't matter how many runs they score.

And the tiebreaker is for the total hits in the game for BOTH teams combined, not just the total hits for the team chosen for that day, correct?

No you pick teams DAILY and you cannot repeat same team during week (running Monday to Sunday). You can repeat same team once new week resets every Monday.

So you still eligible for end year prizes if you skip days, right? Not that anyone would want to miss a day but it happens.

Correct, there is no minimum requirement for year-end or segment prizes since missing days is punishment enough for prizes based on cumulative points.

Cliff Notes

1-Post a team and tiebreaker of total hits in that team's game daily. If the team scores 10 or more runs that day, you get the team's score added to your run score.

2-The daily $100 BTC goes to the person that picked the team that scored the most runs that day (must be 10+) and won the tiebreaker. If tied in most runs and closest tiebreaker (TB could be over or under), earliest timestamp wins the BTC and all others that tied in both get a 100 Free Play.

3-If more than one team ties for high score that day (must be 10+), the tiebreaker get applied to each team and the BTC gets split. So if Mets and Yankees each score 14 runs and are high for the day, BTC splits between Mets winner (after tiebreak) and Yankees winner (after TB).

4-You cannot repeat same team during same week (Monday to Sunday)

5-If no team scores 10+ in a day OR if nobody picked the team(s) scoring 10+ runs that day, there is no daily prize.

Now are there any questions? Contest starts in 12 days so if someone does not understand, speak up now.

I confused MYSELF here LOL so let me rephrase

Reason for clarification is it is possible for team that scored the most run not being contest high score. i.e., Mets are high with 13, Yankees are second high with 12 and nobody had the Mets.

So also amend first line if #3 to 3-If more than one team ties for high contest score that day...

Yes that is fine. In fact, we will allow posting for the next day right after the final game of the current day starts.

There is no penalty for missing days, you can play as many or as few days as you want. It is just that on days you skip, you obviously can't earn any points toward year-end or segment-end prizes.
