How is the voided bet/tennis retirement at any point not a FREEROLL???
We all know the rule but it's total fukkin bullshit. It's making a bet where depending on a cvnt's mood, (In my case down a set & 1-4)..fukk it..I'm done. Which basically means I never had a chance to win the bet, only push or lose. Granted I understand the book isn't making money off this either but just look at my example. My parlay gets knocked down from 642/936 to 642/382 so unless Diego wins the tourney (which he probably won't) I lose money by splitting these bets. Now suppose I went really big on Ferro(-185) 5555/3K & took a stab at a Longshot parlay for 3K..unless the parlay hits, I lose 3K cuz of a rule that totally favors the Book. The only fair retirement rule is its official after the 1st set. This way I could totally live with the result one way or the other even if it's not in my favor. (I'll post the ticket when postimage is working)

Beyond sick of the daily grind Sam.. Seriously considering this 2 step plan..10K/22K Gonz (+220)..if they win it all, rolling it over on the Nets to make the Finals..32K/35K (+110).

DOug this is the downside to the way you chose to bet... believe or not i used to bet just like you, and i'm also one of the high rollers at pinnacle, after covid i had a chance to take a look at my betting history (and as you know we had a lot of time on our hands); ive hit like more than 75% winners and yet i had some bad run...explain that; its simple; MONEY MANAGEMENT! This is the key to success in this game!

Trust me vya..I'm painfully aware of all my betting foibles but this thread is to highlight a patently unfair totally arbitrary rule. Answer me this..why did this retirement rule not apply in any other individual sports, specifically MMA or Boxing.. If a fighter decides to quit on the stool after the 1st round why don't they void those bets?

This is the only viable way to turn 10K into 67K..obvious the Zags are much riskier but that's what boosts the payout.

I guess we both made the mistake of not checking Martincova's retirement history. Literally 30 retirements in the last 10 years.. by far the most on both tours. Pretty obvious why she never cracked the top 100.. when the going gets tough she literally gets going.

Rublev looks like the play..assuming Stef. gets through this match you'll get a much better price on Rublev than if it's Hubie. Ferro depending on the price looks good too.

There are three different rules for retirement.

                              1. First ball

                              2. first set.

                              3. full match.

If you don't like pushing on retirement rules change to first ball site.

Dougy there is still time to recover with crypto. I just wish u had listened when you still had 30-40k to work with

Gonna stick with BM cuz of the high payout limits (sadly none of late or for the foreseeable future), & as far as cold storing in crypto, last yr at this time when BTC was below 5K wouldn't been it. Not expecting another 10× increase anytime soon if ever.

I'm not saying to keep your money in btc. I told you in PM a couple weeks ago to look into defi sector. I'm up almost 230% since I bought in that day.

You did, but let's face it biggie but I don't exactly have as much disposable income as you, so a degen my options are rather limited cuz I'm obviously not gonna stop until I bust.

Thinking of going all in LG, on these 2 Futures (Rublev +130 [horrible line with Tsits. potentially in the SFs] & doubling up on my pending Diego Future. (Current line unavailable) if both hit I could turn this 4600 into about 12K.

I turned it on at the start of the 2nd set so it was pretty much smooth sailing from there..still wouldn't be shocked to see a repeat of last wk. where he crashes out next rd. & big bro follows little bro with a title.

+145 slightly better but should be closer to +170 with Stef. around +210.
Fucs. is solid but Paul @ +2800 might be worth a stab cuz if Coric & Fucs could get smoked by McDonald (Oz Open ) & Tiafoe (2020 Oz Open) no reason he can't make the Final.
