There is a Maximum you can purchase depending on what state . Ex in massachusetts you can only purchase 1 oz at dispensary, but in michigan you can buy 2.5 ozs per dispensary. so once again depends on state laws

Same as gambling, too much red tape. States get to decide taxes, regs etc. Margins thin and rules overburdensome in most states. They make it hard for companies to make big $. Almost like it is government owned as the state is more an equal partner than a regulatory body.
